2. MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 1 JUNE 2006

RESOLVED: that the minutes of the meeting held on 1 June 2006 be confirmed as a correct record of the proceedings and be signed by the Chairman.

3. SURVEY ON METHODS TO INVOLVE YOUNG PEOPLE IN FUTURE TOWN EVENTS

RESOLVED: that this item be deferred until the next meeting

RESOLVED: that this matter be deferred until the next meeting.

5. MATTERS RAISED BY YOUTH COUNCILLORS

North East Essex Mental Health Partnership

An email had been received from Raine Hunt from the North East Essex Mental Health Partnership, requesting to attend a future meeting of the Youth Council in order to encourage the Youth Council to become involved in the Partnership as it moved towards Trust Status. Members requested that Ms Hunt be invited to attend the next meeting in September.

Resignation of Youth Councillor

An email had been received from Youth Cllr Miss Isaacs stating that as she was leaving Birchwood High School, she was resigning from the Youth Council. The Chairman also advised that Youth Cllr Breese and Youth Cllr Miss Ciccerelli would also be resigning from the Youth Council because they were about to leave St Mary's School.
